GRIZZLY OR DIE – CREATIVES: REFUND & RETURN POLICY

At Grizzly or Die – Creatives, we take pride in the craftsmanship of our custom laser engraving services. Because our products are uniquely personalized to your specific requirements, they cannot be resold. Therefore, our refund and return policy is governed by the following terms:

1. NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS ON CUSTOM ORDERS

In accordance with Section 20 of the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), the right to return goods does not apply to "special-order goods."

  • Final Sale: Once a product has been engraved or the engraving process has commenced, the order is considered final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for "change of mind" or customer-side errors (such as spelling mistakes or incorrect design choices).
  • Pre-Production Cancellations: You may cancel your order and receive a refund only if the production/engraving process has not yet started. Once your item is under the laser, no cancellations will be accepted.

2. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY (ACCURACY OF DATA)

It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that all text, logos, and artwork submitted for engraving are accurate.

  • Proofing: We recommend double-checking all spelling, grammar, and layout before finalizing your order.
  • Errors: Grizzly or Die – Creatives will not be held liable for errors in the final product caused by customer-supplied information.

3. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED GOODS

We stand by our quality. If a product arrives and is materially defective or damaged in a way that is not related to the custom engraving (e.g., the base product is broken), the following applies:

  • Notification: You must notify us via email or WhatsApp within 48 hours of receiving your goods.
  • Evidence: Please include your order number and clear photographs of the defect or damage.
  • Resolution: If the defect is confirmed as a manufacturing fault on our part, we will, at our discretion, either repair the item, replace it, or issue a refund.

4. NATURAL VARIATIONS

Please note that many of our materials (such as wood, leather, or stone) are natural products.

  • Variations in grain, color, texture, and the way the laser reacts to different densities are natural characteristics and are not considered defects.
  • Small "burn marks" or "smoke staining" are inherent to the laser engraving process and add to the "Grizzly" aesthetic of our brand.

5. SHIPPING & COLLECTIONS

  • Location: We are based in Cape Town, South Africa.
  • Return Shipping: In the event that a return is authorized for a defect, the customer may be responsible for the initial shipping costs, which will be reimbursed if the claim is validated.
  • Unclaimed Goods: Any custom work left unpaid or uncollected for more than 30 days will be disposed of or repurposed at our discretion.
